Always remember Gordon Jackson presenting some TV award, just after Upstairs Downstairs had finished and he was into the Professionals. He opened his speech with "anybody need a butler good with a tommy gun?"
Sweeney miles better than the Professionals though.

The Sweeney all you need is Thaw a brilliant actor and Waterman was not bad either.

I liked life on mars as they had & used my Mk 3 Cortina.
Well not my car hmmmm
Plus I have experience of the law in those day's !!

I didn't like either. I didn't even like Life on Mars, the 'homage'.
Maybe you need a Y chromosome.
I don't expect any of you would rush home to watch a Jane Austen adaptation.
